Armaros Manifest II
I really could use some advise on this one..
It's funny how that boss is the only one I struggle with, even did so in the main story.

I did try to read some strats online, but only came across blindsides.
Now I have to say, I'm somewhat bad with performing blindsides.

Do I need to practice it or are there any other strats for the boss?

I used Edge (200), Reimi (255, playing the most time during the fight), Meracle (200) and Myuria (200).

What was also a problem for me is that AM II never did really focus on me during the fight, always going to the other Members pretty much insta kill them. Not even using Taunt did help.

Hope you guys can help this noob out a little :arstar:

having max element resistance will help a bit too if you haven't bothered to get it yet. There is quite a bit of earth and light element damage in that fight. Also silence immunity is a huge help to have at this point, though it should not be on an ultimate gear like you would want with AntiVoid.

Probably would suggest Arumat to take out the extra enemies with Dragon Roar, then blindside with Meracle while having Sarah or Myuria healing.

I blindsided the boss constantly with Meracle. Battle wasn't that long since I had cleared the entire solo arena as Meracle (also getting her arena weapon) in the low 50's. Very possible but irritating to pull off.

Comet Impact hits pretty hard, doubly so when chained.

The window opening for blindsides is extremly wide. Like as soon as the enemy even flinches to start attacking, up until near the end of their animation is the blindside window. Although a late timing might result in you getting hit by the attack anyway.

The direction you blindside in matters as well. Like an enemy that has a big, wide swing from the right, if you blindside from the direction they swing from, you might get hit. In which case you blindside towards the opposite direction.

There are enemies with wide sweeping attacks, or AOEs, that cover their sides very well, in which case, executing a blindside in the direction away from the enemy is what you want to do in that situation.
