Fast -ology drops for Arumat :)

I finally had a session where the Wandering Dungeon didn't crash on me (yay!), and I got very lucky with a wide open ice cream bar shaped room on a low level floor whose enemies were all Adephaga Prox. That set me up for double ambushes (3x battle) with nothing but insects. Arumat's -ology drops come from...insects.

If you set yourself up with a party of Arumat, [Insert character you want to get EXP here], Myuria, and Sarah, and set the EXP char to either Do Nothing or Stay out of Trouble (if it's Lymle), Myuria to spam Ice Needles, and Sarah for healing, you can start off the surprise battle by berserking Arumat, then quickly moving just to the front and side of Sarah (the insects make a beeline for her) and spam Dragon Roar, you'll get between 3-5 -ology drops per set of battles.

I can't stress enough how fast this adds up. Why does it do it so quickly? Well, you have the following working in your favor:

1) Double ambush + surprise battle.

2) Nothing but insects.

3) Geostones are the -ology drops here and they drop frequently as such in large battles.

I went from just a handful of -ology drops to 100 in less than 30 minutes this way. And if you're controlling Arumat the whole time, switching to Sarah just long enough to cast Faerie Light and then back to Arumat, preferrably while he's in the Dragon Roar animation, you'll snag a bunch of annoying battle trophies all in the same session, including his -ology trophies, defeat X enemies trophies, and defeat X insects trophies. And if you haven't yet gotten his "at least X damage" and "at least X overkill damage" trophies, likely those too if your equipment is good enough. I managed to get all of his overkill trophies this way since Sarah was casting Enhance/Angel Feather on my characters a lot.

And on the plus side, you'll easily cap out the insect items required for making Otherworldly Cuisines (you still need to get rotten fishies elsewhere or duplicate them).

As long as the game is stable, this is the best place to get a crapton of Arumat's trophies. It doesn't get more convenient than that for -ology drops either. :)
