wandering dungeon freeze

so i am on the post dungeon with no saves on the 8 floor finally getting to santa to buy tri emblems,, and game freeze on imperfect armaros boss, f* my life right? yes lets put a ex dungeon with random floors and f*** people games with it crashing games, good ideia

I had the mouse pointer appear on screen when the game froze and it crashed.I was on the same floor as you.I never had a single crash in the entire game for 100 hours but hey....let's crash on the 8th floor without save points...right?I know how you feel.

I passed that boss without issues the first time around but the second time i crashed.Some ppl back in the day were mentioning that even in the battle with the Ethereal queen, they were having crashes on consoles.This crash with Imperfect armaros was also there.So you could easily assume that the WD is not only annoying as hell and takes A LOT of time to get somewhere without save points, but also you're being rewarded with crashes that they never fixed since 9 years ago.No wonder why many ppl hate it.

this game was supposed to last till ys 8 releases , but o well, i might give another try to this

The game had occasional freezing in the both the x360 and ps3 releases for me in the wandering dungeon. I've also had the ps3 version freeze on me during the game's final boss. Looks like the bug never got patched and has been in every release of the game.
I've defeated the Ethereal Queen on x360 & ps3 so not going to do it again but hopefully they can find the issue in the source code and patch it this time.

Nice to see they never bothered fixing that bug then. Leave a bug in the game that locks the system up when going through multiple ambushes, then have a dungeon where one of the major ways to progress is... multiple ambushes. I had several such crashes in the WD on PS3. Not too impressed that it still exists here.

people did report crashes constantly on the consoles, I thankfully hever had any.

One source of crashes is apparently the silence and void spells, so turn them off for your characters just in case.

I dont know if mine will crash yet as I havent got that far in the game.

What a nightmare. Back in the Xbox360 days I had been in there for about 15 hours farming drops when I encountered the dreaded silence freeze. Took me several weeks to fully recover.
