Loved the game
but if they can't major boost the graphics beyond what the emulator did ( which did give it for me a very good face lift ), I don't know that I would buy it.
In the HD version for PS4, you hold L2 for "hard" pressure for the Dragon Flute and the button sensitivity for skills was removed also, since the PS4 controller does not feature analog buttons.
Seems like it would be just fine to port the HD version.
Also, I don't even mind that this is a 3-year necro, I still want this lol.
Till the End of Time with dual-audio option. I want the japanese original voice over.
Yes me too!! Bring more Star Ocean games!
But, I'm going to lol if it ends up on Epics... they've been kind of hitting the mark on titles gamers want lately.
I'd buy it on Epic and launch through Steam (for Dualsense controller support). As long as I can play it on PC, I'd buy it wherever. I'm not picky.
That's a dishonest company, I prefer to buy a PlayStation instead of giving Epic a penny.
In the end, they're all dishonest companies.
Valve was literally just fined 4 million bucks for blatantly and knowingly ripping off a patent for their Steam controller, then fined another 2 million bucks by the EU for geoblocking, and are being sued again for abusing market dominance to keep game prices high.
Even CDPR knowingly released an almost unplayable game on the current-gen consoles and and had it removed from the Playstation store. Yikes. And GOG is probably still the best of the digital storefronts.
And of course, both companies look like saints if you want to compare to Sony's practices in the past.
But really, this isn't about companies doing bad stuff (which they all do), this is about having more Star Ocean playable on the PC. And I personally don't care where they make it available, as long as I can play it.
Ok, I begin with
Thunder Flare!!!
