This or PS4 version?

I'm quite sure that the game will run fine on my machine but what I'm mostly worried about is if the game has a launch screen (like in the Atelier series) which destroys the console-like experience when streaming on Steam Link.

Which version would you recommend? Thanks!

You mean when you attack multiple enemies and it looks like the game is lagging?That's how the gameplay is.Not a framerate issue.


Download Reshade from google.First link...click it.After that it's easy.Launch the file and find the games EXE file.It will ask you to.After that select DX10+ since the game is DX11 and it will let you download a complete set of effects and graphics.From there you can check and uncheck the ones you want or don't want.Then in-game press Shift+F2 and it will open the Reshade window.Click continue, then on the + button and click in the empty red bar and enter, finish.Make sure in the settings tab that you choose "performance" mode cause it's in "configuration" mode by default.Then start playing around with the effects while standing still in an open area and watch the magic fly.

What he said. I jumped the gun and got it for my Pro and it runs like a champ on a LG 4k UHD at 4k. I was surprised at all the graphic options that they put in for the console version.

Ragardless the game uses up 40gb+
They both run fine, PC version just has a few full screen bugs that are expected to be fixed soon.
Lowering the game window while in a scene causes the audio to overlap with each other. But other than that its fine.

So make your decision based on the HDD space instead and whether your PC can handle it.
Im running it on a GTX 950 at 60fps both fullscreen and windowed.

Playstation on the other hand, all sales final, no exceptions. I contacted them because my PS4 copy of Dragon Quest Heroes 2 was not working properly even after hours of troubleshooting. They basically told me to shove it because I had already downloaded it. Yeah, how am I supossed to know something isn't working correctly unless I downloaded it. Be careful when buying on PSN.

1) ps4 pro is not 4k its upscaled 1080p
2) the cpu is too weak and the game does not hold 60fps

Its ps4, consoles can barely maintain 30 fps at 720p. I have had fps drops in the pc versiopn with a gtx 1070 but only when I like use reimi's first attack skill (Sonic thorn iirc) and nail like 4 or 5 enemies at once with it. but i'd assume any version would have that.

Not the case with me.It's Edge's blindside that hits 3 enemies with each slash at the same tim,e that plummets the frame rate, and the card is not even past 60% usage.Only japanese create such ports.

Yes I see this too. I have a 1080Ti and when I check the usage its running around 30-50% and sitting around 45 degrees, but the game stutters some times. (at 4K and everything maxed) Doesnt even look like it is using all the power. For the most part I see 60FPS though.

Its not stable. I got first PS4 amd game have a lot fps drops. Then i got pc and now runs fine. I have PS4 no PRo

No. Star Ocean can run in native 4k res.Some other games maybe are upscaled but SO not. But in 4k 60 fps not stable.

Thanks guys. I have a GTX 850m laptop. I don't mind turning off features to mske it run smoothly (60 fps preferred).

I mentionef I hate launch screens. So thanks for saying it doesn't have that. But I will also run this on Steam Link so anyone who plays this and streams on thr Link would be very good to hear feedback from. 😁

That why people say ps4 version drops what hell where they thinking normal ps4 can't handle max pc setting.

Also ps4 version has setting do that make ps4 version a port of a pc game.
