Player count numbers?

Im on the fence with buying this, and I'm looking at Steam charts and its telling me that there are like 11 people playing this game right now.

Am I going crazy? What are the player numbers like, cause if this game has at any given moment only like 10-100 people then its not really worth purchasing, right? If its like that, whats to say the game wont steadily decrease in player counts until its 1-10?

Anybody got a good grasp on the playercounts?

Its currently messed up due to the 'new game but also not new game' setup they went for between steam and thier servers. Steam charts currently is showing the accurate population in its entry for the original Guns of Icarus Online - http://steamcharts.com/app/209080 - that population is split between playing the new PvE mode and original PvP mode.

I wouldn't say for any given time but right now it is at 450 players.

It was 200 people yesterday.
And according to charts, 208 people were playing 40 minutes ago.

no ones playing.. the game itself says a few hundred but good luck even finding full matches. The devs dont respond to problems. and it really is just dlc o the first game.. they try to blame steam bu the devs behind this game dont support people actively trying to play it, they just wanna make money

theres not that many players and some roles are extremely boring..

u can always try for an hour or so to see if u like it or not.

I have to disagree with this. I totaled up the average player count for the longevity of GOIO's steam chart life; my math shows the goio average players lifespan is: 248.358~. Now up until MUSE put the game up for free on humble, the average player count per month hasn't reached or been over 248.358 since February 2016. So that isn't exactly stable, or consistent.

Our playertimes are fluxuating but weekends in US afternoon (=EU evening) are the best times to hop in for variety!
The good thing about the PVE we added is that now you don't need anyone to start a game anymore. Hop in, start. Done.
For PVP without waiting times I recommend the weekly posted Community Calendar on our Forums, and the daily reminders of events going on via Facebook[www.facebook.com] and Twitter!
