Is this game fun?
Yes, blowing airships out of the sky is the best way to spend the afternoon. Heavy weapons and awesome explosions tend to be quite a bit of fun. Get a team to crew your ship and you're in business

Hows the population?
You can check our exact stats here http://steamcharts.com/app/209080#All But the major key is always have games going 24/7 and there are plenty of players who want to bring you in and help you learn the game.

How did you get so good at crashing your ship in this game Ayetach?

Since there's a PVE aspect to the game am I able to get bots to populate the positions for I'm lacking in the friend department?

@Xalnath, absolutely! You can play by yourself on one ship if you prefer, the only requirement would be that you would have to pilot and commandeer the ship. Every other crew role can be substituted by an AI bot.

Yeah definitely hope so. With this setup, it's pretty flexible, so people can play co-op or pvp. Hopefully PvE can be training grounds for people to take on PvP as well.

Very simple is you want to bring back some population Developper have to add maybe 2 ships and 3 maps in the PVP mode...

You can play PvE fully solo. I've tried it during open beta when my friends were still sitting on the bench regarding this expansion. It's playable, AI Crew tries their best, but I don't find it nearly as fun as playing with other people.

The only thing that really concerns me as of now is a chance of this game going down sometime, because it needs connection to external server. Though maybe if this'll ever happen Devs will issue some sort of patch that will allow players to play peer-to-peer. Or create dedicated servers. Or play using LAN. Who knows?

Yes you can in fact! Since Alliance records war progression and your contribution you will still need to connect through an online source to play.

We are in the process of testing various Alliance content for consideration to port over to PvP so it is indeed possible. We just need to make sure its balanced enough for PvP gameplay as much as it is for PvE.

Sorry for that confusion Soleater, everyone who buys Guns of Icarus Alliance for the first time will pay the full price for both Alliance and the PvP. Those that already have PvP can upgrade to Alliance at the retail value of what Alliance cost. If you have any other questions I would be happy to assist in answering them, thanks!

Absolutely fine, bearing in mind the only things charged is the game itself and cosmetic items found in our in-game store. There will be no pay wall for any of the gameplay, everying becomes available from the start or unlockable stages if you're doing Alliance.

Since the playtime is currently still bugged and steam doesnt let you review a game unless youve played it enough, here is my review as a player of GoI online way back when it started up:

lets see...airship battles overtop beautiful chasms and cliffs and occasional lava, team focused gameplay, a very non-toxic community, NOT pay-to-win, and lots of explosions. need I say more?
