Playing at 30fps with a RTX 3060???? (SOLVED)

Hello everyone,

My Desktop computer's system specs are:
-Windows 10
-Nvidia RTX 3060
-i5-10400f
-16GB RAM

For some reason my game runs at 26-35fps, and most of the times it crashes because it doesn't detect the graphic card anymore (or that's what the error message claims). Same used to happen to me when I was playing this game in my old laptop, and it ran at almost the same performance...

I tried to force the exe and the launcher to use the GPU but it will change nothing. I tried contacting the Bandai Namco support and they replied "we are going to send your comment to our devs [...]" which is the dead end of the ticket. I tried to set everything to low in the launcher settings and I still get the same performance.

If anybody knows what's the cause of this issue, please comment below

What about other games - does it work normal?
Have you tried to change something related to the game or graphic card settings in general in the GeForce Experience (or how it called nowadays)? Have you tried to use older version of the videocard's drivers (I assume you use the most recent one's, right)? If you can upload the screenshot of the message somewhere and post a link there you will really help people to help you.

Hello Dead Snake. I just tried a game and it works same as its benchmark for my rig. Geforce Experience didn't find my game. Sure I'll try somewhat later to post a screenshot of the error. Thanks for your reply =)

I'm struggling to get that error. I'm not sure if it's really that determining if it hasn't ocurred in easily 15 attempts (for sure whenever I manage to get that error I'll post it). I guess it just doesn't have any solution. Bad luck for me xd. I guess I'll have to play this game with low fps while watching in Nvidia's layer that the GPU is only performing at 20-35% and the CPU kinda similar x(. Thanks anyways.

Well, that's really strange and sad at the same time. You can try one more thing though - try to install and play Lost Song, previous part of the series. It uses the same engine as AWvsSAO, but it's PC port was much better. It's very interesting if it will run smoothly or not. If it will - then, unfortunately, your problem happens because of the bad porting of the game and noone will be able to do anything. If no - then it's something with the game's engine, though you probably still won't be able to fix it too.
Just remembered - have you tried to disable fps lock if it's enabled as well as vertical synchronization? Sometimes it affects perfomace pretty much, especially the first thing.

Hello. Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately it didn't work once again x(. I'm afraid I'm not planning in purchasing another SAO game nowadays, so I won't be able to test your observation. I will unistall this game and perharps, someday, in a future I'll try installing it again and play it no matter how it performs, once I've finished all the pending games and responsabilities that are on my list. I'm 99.99% sure this way works, I already play this game at 60fps.

The crash problem is commom and unavoidable because this game has bad optimization, this will make you harder to do infinite farming.
