Using PS4 controller but seeing Xbox button icons

The ingame settings won't let me select the PS4 controller config; I keep defaulting to Xbox. If anything, Steams Big Picture app might be treating my PS4 as if it were a Steam Controller. How can I get PS4 button icons to show in-game? I tried disabling PS4 Controller Config Support, but then the game forces me to play using keyboard settings (i.e., the game stops recognizing I have a PS4 controller plugged in). Any help is appreciated.

Mmh, I remember I used DS4Windows with Bluetooth and the game showed Xbox buttons, though PlayStation buttons used to show once I connected it with cable to charge the controller. But keep in mind that I was still using Bluetooth, the cable was only for charging (not recomended to play with cable).
