crashing

is there absolutely no known way to fix this? :D I actually got tilted getting a crash in the mugen when I finally got a nice weapon and the weird thing is on my old pc which ran the game at like 10-15 fps it NEVER crashed and now on a better one it's crashing very often I'm demoralized to play at all now because of that

So far, no. And I've lost count on how many mugen drops I lost. Guess you get used to it after tons upon tons of them.
Really? It's really weird tbh... Mine crashed once in a while, but usually on the worst possible time (I'm looking at you, game, when you crashed just when I got my first Vox Unitas). The game's really "moody" when it comes to crashing on my pc.

yea I completed the entire story and some side quests + the mugen to 100 on my old pc overheating and with little fps yet not a single crash and now... very interesting to say the least =D

True... I tried using steam launch options, but haven't played long enough to find out. Switching out the dll files (the SharpDX related ones) with newer version of them forced me to bypass the launcher, but the crash still occurs anyway so it's a bust. Then again, I'm completely blind on computer matters.

if I had to guess it's gotta do with something that's a new version because on my old pc I hadn't really upgraded anything for years so the only things that got installed were the one packaged with the game itself yeah or MAYBE it's the V-sync that's screwing it up but playing without it is way too fast and annoying in battles did you play with V-sync on? while I had it off I didn't encounter crashes but I didn't play too much with it off because it got annoying quickly gonna test it now :^)
V-sync doesn't even work now even when I turn it off it's still locked at 60fps wtf rip fast BP farming

Lol it's funny that when we actually update, it crashed. It's really difficult to test mine, because I once did a 400 floors-ish mugen run.. sooo yea XD
I think the game's fps is locked 60 fps regardless. Tbh, i have problem with the render being locked in 1080p at minimum. Would have made my game run smoother at 720p. Shame.

yes! if there was a 720p option I would've been able to play nicely on my old pc too, I even refunded it the first time because I didn't know there wasn't no 720p option when I bought it and didn't wanna suffer with little fps :D
it's not locked btw I just fixed it somehow it can jump up very high the problem is everything moves faster so you don't have any time to react to boss attacks but farming BP with scarlet rain is 31951390513950 times faster
