How to hide recycling bin

I used to hide all desktop icons, as I like a clean looking desktop.
I never use recycling bin, so I'd like to hide it completely, I always shift+delete files so nothing ever goes into the recycling bin anyway.
And no, I don't want to just put it on a separate desktop page, I want it hidden or gone completely.

To remove the icon follow these steps.

1. Right click your desktop and the left click Personalize.
   
2. Click Themes on the left.
   
3. Click Desktop icon settings on the right.
   
4. Uncheck Recycle Bin in the window that comes up and click OK.
