Motion Blur

When playing maps 6 stars or above that go relatively fast, the motion blur gets so bad that I can't read the map, any tips to reduce it?
Edit: Also a sort by recently played option would be rad if possible.

• Get a better monitor with a higher refresh rate (120/144/240/360 Hz, higher is better) and lower pixel response time (2/1 ms gtg, lower is better).
  
• Decrease the background dim (Options > Gameplay > General > "Background Dim"). The standard osu style of having very bright circles on a completely dark black background is very bad for FPoSu.
  
• Alternatively, increase the background brightness (Options > Gameplay > General > "Background Brightness"). The background brightness slider will force a white rectangle to be rendered instead of the beatmap image.
  
• Make sure your fps are at least as high as your monitor refresh rate. (Preferably 2x, 3x or 4x higher is better.)
