I haven't bought the game yet, but in all the preview images the main character has a seriously ugly grin when their little mid chat photo comes up.

Is their face permanently unpleasant to behold, or is it just when they smile like that? Because if thats the passive state their face is in Idunno if I can handle looking at it the whole time.

On a side note, anyone else think that the main character was male? She has a distictive "Pretty anime boy" look to me, idk.

The face isnt that unpleasant to me and I rather like it actually, And Im sorry did you guys want the stereotype feminine warrior woman? She's probably designed to be a confident warrior (hence the smirk), and Wears her hair short because it's practical in warfare, if you guys want a game with as sexually feminine women as possible I would recommend Dragons Quest then.

There's a lot of room between finding Mercia ugly as sin and "wanting a sexy chainmail bikini warrior".

I like the idea of Mercia - a female warrior with heavy plate and a smirk on her face. I like her hairstyle and hair color.

But her face is really ugly, for me. Doesn't bother me to the point that I would start a thread about it, but it's silly acting like people can't find a character ugly.

Are you being ironic or are you serious? The face is aesthetically unappealing, and I don't care about what gender it is or your weird political schtick. Their interpretation of a confident grin involves pixellated facial stretching. It offends my sight not my politics, and I don't know why they would have such a disconcerting image appear so often.

The smile lines on the face break with the artstyle. This shouldn't be that hard to understand.

The actual character design is fine, and you're attacking the wrong person.

Personally I'd prefer if they fix system issues rather then artwork issues first given that I just got the game and it literally isnt installing.... This is first steam game this has happened to me with.
