Steam Deck OLED Black Screen
Works fine on our LCD unit, never loads on the OLED (infinite black screen). Anyone else encounter this? I've tried multiple Proton versions, all the same.

To be perfectly fair, the test was done way before the oled decks were a thing, though I still agree it needs to be fixed.

Also a new steamos preview update drops and I saw this in the log, dunno if it also applies to sine mora ex on oled or just forza 4, might be worth trying out to see.

Same here. Not working on OLED. Tried Proton 'Experimental' and 7 and still nothing.

exactly the same issue here with my OLED Steam Deck

Report it here and let em know about it. Also add the command "PROTON_LOG=1 %command%" in the command line through settings and share the log file it makes, it won't exactly fix it but it'll help narrow down what it's doing on oled.

Once you make a log file by running the game after adding the command, go into desktop mode, open the file manager, and under places, click the home section, you should see a log file on the bottom that starts with "steam", followed by a bunch of numbers which should be the game's id.

I tested with the preview build and it did not fix the issue for me. I'll try again to get those logs and submit a ticket.

I tested with the preview build and it did not fix the issue for me. I'll try again to get those logs and submit a ticket.

I spoke too soon. I switched to the Preview build but I hadn't yet downloaded the update. With the latest build it works now. Solved! Thank you!
