Game difficulty

Hi all, do you eventually get to upgrade your ship or get anything that helps make thjs game easier? I'm only on stage 3 but it's pretty damn tough. I can't even get the second promotion because it needs an A rank and I can barely scrape a C rank. Either I just suck (which I suspect is the answer) combined with the game difficulty or I am missing something!

no. they intentionally made it this hard.
uninstalled after 2 hours
they do not understand players or gamedesign at all.
if you look at the achievements leaderboard, the 2nd achievement is ~5% of the whole playerbase.

the hungarian voiceovers are cool though.
