Ammo Types
Do they do anything other than letting you hurt specific poltergeists? I've never used anything but FMJ for standard enemies the entire game. It would be cool if they changed the weapon statistics , but I see no sign that they do that.

There's been some hints werewolves are going to be in act 2, so guess the ammo types is going to be focused more on with that release.

Silver, and all that.

Mostly for poltergeists, i always use the UV ammo to be cool but i wish they had some graphical signature to see what you are firing

agreed. they need ammo that does more damage but cost more. so maybe you have a few really good bullets to help you out in a pinch. in fact the game needs more survivaly stuff.

Honestly, I kind of think I'm in favor of anything that makes the game easier (I'm in end game gear, and still die over half the time when I unleash a poltergeist, really just comes down to getting lucky). That said, it's strange, but if we got stuff to make the game easier then I don't know if I would enjoy it as much.

Werewolves and Shapechangers will be in act 2, with Demons and such in Act 3, just take a look at the description for some of the later skills that are currently unimplemented, they mention Werewolves, shapechangers, and then demons at the final tiers.

They do, for example, fire round do more dmg to outside giant tentacles, UV do more dmg to shadow beast. These are rarely written anywhere so use trial and error.

Not sure how hard it would be to add, but maybe add a note page listing what ammo you've tried and what the effect was on the critters?

Kinda like in Devil May Cry, the original, how the beastierie only updated once you actually got hit by an attack, or exploited a weakness.

Just a suggestion. Think it would be cool and useful.

Are you sure about UV rounds doing more to shadow beasts?

I'm using the Ozzy Shuffle '76 and I'm doing 24 damage per hit with FMJ and UV
