APOCALYPTIC BUG FIXED WITH 1.08? ARMAGEDDON+1 or NEW GAME?

Ok, I underline that I played and I'm playing Ds III on PS4. I initially started the game while the patch 1.06 was downloading in background, and I started at Apocalyptic difficulty. Now, I went in options settings and, despite I didn't changed at all the difficulty level, once I beat up the game I didn't get the trophy for the Apocalyptic level.

I learned later that it was a glitch, but I hoped that once the 1.06 was ready and installed I could have beaten the game and got the trophy anyway, but so it didn't happen.

So, now, with the 1.08, I'm basically playing the NG+ on Armageddon 1 for collecting more angelic/demonic artifacts in order to level up my last 5th power-up in Balance, but I'm also wondering if in the case I beat up the game again I will get the trophy for Apocalyptic difficulty or it's better to start a new game (new save slot) and don't touch at all option setting in order to avoid this annoying bug.

people should be aware by now that they should never be touching the ingame settings while they are playing mid game, its been like that in many games especially Darksiders games to be in the topic atm. start apocalyptic, just rush or play the game how u like without going to the ingame game settings.

if u have no issue starting the game again to avoid any troubles of forgetting that u went through the menu before, then go for it. better safe.

You have to beat the base game on Apocalyptic to get the trophy. Beating it on NG+ will not pop the trophy. Hope this helps!

If i beat base game on Reckoning difficulty, will i get trophy for Apocalyptic and Normal Difficulty as well? Or do i have to beat the game on each difficulty in order to get the each achievements? Thank you.

Like with previous iteration, beat the highest difficulty and it unlocks all the lower one. I don't recommend Reckoning if its your first playthrough

Well this would be my third playthrough technically, but since i will be starting from Zero, it will be pretty much like first playthrough, only harder.
