How to get back to Lust Boss fight, help?
After I got past the giant octopus, the merchant is right past him, so without looking around I used the merchant to teleport to a different spot. I can't teleport back to that specific merchant now so now I can not finish the game (continue to the Lust boss fight). Can someone tell me how to continue progressing or do I need to restart the game?

Wait, you fast travelled away using Vulgrim's plinth *behind* the octopus encounter and cannot go back to that same spot? That...strikes me as unlikely, since even going near him will unlock that place for fast travel, never mind fully interacting with him in order to fast travel away. You have two options here:

1) You keep missing the right fast travel point when looking to return. It's CARGO SHIP.

2) You have a truly remarkable bug that nobody else has seen. Verify game files, restart game.

After travelling via serpent hole, the location you came from will be highlighted in the serpent hole list. Makes it easy to find where you came from, unless you're jumping around a bunch of them.

If the serpent hole you came from is legitimately not present, then it really would be a unique bug.

You can just travel to a different one and travel by foot to where you left off, though. The same way you got there in the first place.

But you can't get back to that spot on foot though, not until after you defeat Lust and gain use of the Force Hollow. The original way there is blocked by debris, so until you open up the next area of the game, you HAVE to fast travel there if you leave (and fast travelling is the only way to leave so...)

The Cargo Ship is after the Lust fight, though. OP is talking about the vulgrim location right past the "giant octopus." I don't remember the name of the serpent hole, but if it's what I think it is, it's in a widely-accessible area.

The name of the spot was Cargo ship. Found it. Thank you.

CARGO HOLD, actually, for after Lust. It's also not in a widely-accessible area until after you get the Force Hollow and have the tool needed to open up the other ways into it.

Ah, right. My bad. Carry on!
