Help with the Duplication Glitch

Could someone please help me with the duplication glitch? I've followed every tutorial on the internet, everything seems to work with the main menu thing, the loading save file screen in game and opening the inventory to make it go away, but no matter what I do, when it comes to grabbing the item, the option of grabbing the item in the inventory doesn't show up. I'm currently in a new game plus run on reckoning difficulty. Has the glitch being patched out or is there something else I'm missing? Someone help me, please?

Since this is a single player game, and there's no online / vac anti-cheat - I would never recommend this, but theoretically you could modify this game however you like. E.G Cheat Engine.
