Is the DLC worth it?
I was going to get this on sale. Am I missing anything substantial if I don't get the Deluxe version? Cool armor or story missions?

I personally think they're quite worth it if you plan on playing through the game several times (New Game Plus modes) since the DLCs offer great gameplay value and some great gear and loot.

If however you simply wish to play the game once or twice for the experience and story, then they don't offer anything important. They don't have any major story to them, they're just two big side quests with some chit-chat lore.

Here is what you get from the two in terms of content;

Keepers Of The Void DLC
  • The Void - A new zone split into 4 Hollow areas
  • 5 Bosses - One boss for each Hollow area and one final boss once you fully clear The Void
  • 1 Armor - The Abyssal Armor can be obtained once you defeat the final boss
  • 4 Weapons - Each Hollow gains one new weapon when you clear a Hollow area
  • 2 Enhancements - Two new enhancements exclusively for Fury's Scorn (whip) and Crossblade can be found in The Void
  • Loot - Each Hollow area has plenty of loot to be had, such as artifacts, visages, consumables and souls

The Crucible DLC
  • The Crucible - A fighting arena with 101 waves in which you fight every enemy in the game and bosses
  • 3 Armors - Three new armors can be purchased with coins earned in the Crucible
  • 4 Enhancements - Four new Hallow specific enhancements can be purchased with coins earned in the Crucible
  • Loot - Various resources can be bought with coins earned in the Crucible

Crucible is also a pretty good way to exp after beat the game and upgrade weapons and enchantments.
