You play Nioh, so Darksiders 3 is a pushover.

Most of the fans of the Darksiders series didn't like the game because it's kinda difficult if you compare it with the previous versions. The enemies are real tough and can easily instantkill you, even the weakest enemies, but it's not that hard if you're good at dodging (of course the fans won't agree).

If you're not good at dodging and just want to play for the story and want more balanced fights, choose the classic combat mode.

You don't miss anything if you start on the hardest difficulty.

Be careful with the Nightmare mode. It's a little different! If you die, your save is deleted and you have to start from the beginning.

If you care for achievements, there's one for finishing the game on Apocalyptic mode. Once you choose that difficulty, you CAN'T change it in the middle of the game. Don't even go near the option in the menu, otherwise it will screw with the achievement.

The game comes with the DLCs, and you'll gradually have access to them after you defeat specific bosses.

There's an NG+, but here it's called Armageddon mode. You can start Armageddon 1 after you defeat the final boss, and you can play until Armageddon 9.
