Stuck... again help with the Tornado :(

Soo the Crucible is nice and all but since I cant get past the damn tornado in the main game its now a useless add on for me at wave 75. Has anyone got any MORE tips on how to get past it? Anyone want to do it for me?!

How are you doing it?

Wait till it's far away, jump, activate Force Hollow and sprint.
You have to sprint, "not run".

To sprint using an Xbox 360 controller, run and press LS. On the keyboard, press V.

what is the problem with the tornado?

just wait for it to be the farthest away from you and sprint to the nearest underground

IMHO, it's not worth it.
With that "loophole", OP would be missing not only the tornado, but also the puzzles... and the game is too expensive not to see everything.

It keeps grabbing me with everything I do, even with it far away. I may just attempt the loop hole cause I am really really frustrated, on the expensive front its a dead weight cause I cant get anywhere!

As mentioned already, ensure you have the force hollow (purple) equipped. If you are saying it's grabbing you from far away, then that sounds like you don't have it enabled.

Otherwise, don't get distracted by shinies. Move directly to way points (usually) underground passages. Take a moment to watch tornado pathing before you run for it. Make sure you make your break when it's farthest from your target because, once you run out into the open, it will immediately target you and move towards your location. Don't dodge, roll, or jump. Just run.

If you are at the part where you are inside the upper floors of a high rise and you need to jump down, you need to make it over to the opposite left hand area. You can dash straight over or use the subway path.

Once over on opposite left hand side, pull the lever near the platform. This platform is an oil well. The pump will move a couple times and you'll be left with an oil pool out near the tornado just outside the building. Equip the fire hollow and use salvation to set oil on fire. The tornado will suck up flaming oil and suicide itself. Tornado gone - for good.

So I got that, what I cant get is the storm hollow jump from the platform over to where the tornado is, make it across and start to run and it grabs me even with the force hollow enabled. Im just not fast enough, cant even make it to the puzzles, die straight up.

What's happening when you jump?
Are you sprinting directly to the subway station?

Jump and glide to the right, sometimes I miss and die but most times I land and start to run changing hollows as I go. Still can’t get it. It may be my hands and the decreased dexterity I have that I can’t change hollows fast enough...

Just to make it clear, you're "sprinting", and not just running, right?

Forget the Force Hollow part. Just start sprinting with the Storm Hollow equiped.

Yep was doing that and still getting sucked up. After 15 further attempts at it tonight I finally made it, am now stuck elsewhere.

use force form, wait till its far away then sprint to the subway. once you are some what close mash the dash button till youre inside.
