You can buy items for this coins from Targon.

If you complete 100 waves consecutively (do not leave, do not restart, do not start from any wave other than 0) you will be offered the chance to do wave 101. If you complete this boss, you will get a reward.

Yes, 60 coins each. You need to reach wave 50, 75 and 100 to able to buy them even if you have enough coins. Also they have stat boosts.

Just reach them, so you'll unlock the items to buy. The only reason to go 0-100 is to face wave 101
