Apocalyptic achievement not unlocking after beating the game

Like some others I am unfortunate enough the be cursed by this assumed bug. I played through the game in normal difficulty and then launched a second save on apocalyptic and now I have finished that save too. I have gotten almost every achievement and was very happy to be able to complete the game. Sadly after I defeated the last boss I only got the achievements for beating it on normal. The names of the achievements are also bugged in the german version it seems. But no apocalyptic achievement to be found. I beat the boss again in hopes of somehow getting it but every effort failed. When I checked my difficulty the warning message came up that changing the difficulty will result in me not getting the achievement, meaning this was the first time I selected the difficulty besides the first time when launching. Hope there is anyone who has an idea of how to do this. Ill gladly fight the last boss again.

You have to play on apocalyptic from the beginning until the end. You can't change difficulty mode during the gameplay.

I didnt tho as I said I played since the beginning and when I looked at it It even said that it hasnt changed yet

Forget what I said.
I played on apocalyptic from the beginning to the end, didn't change difficulty during gameplay, killed the last boss almost 10 times, but the achievement didn't unlock.
