How to reach tentacle boss (2nd time)?

I used the blade on the first encounter to fight the tentacle boss (leviathan? kraken?). I back tracked and killed Sloth, but now Im unsure where to go. I went to where the blue skull was leading me, but the door is blocked by a tentacle and I dont see any other way. (I have Force power as well).

When you say "fought" do you mean you just threw your weapon at its eyes, or did you actually fight it?

Threw the weapon at its eyes and ran

Then you didn't fight him yet. You need to kill Lust first, then use the ability you get for beating her in that room, and then you'll be on track to fight him.

you are on the wrong side of where you need to be, goto the cargo hold serpnat hole, follow the path along the way there will be some purple rocks to break going up some stairs then hit the blue glowing tentacle and the way to the next boss will open
you will have access to the cargo hold hole just after you kill lust

edit:if you haven't killed lust yet you need to take the cargo ship serpant hole

Ohh ok, thanks. I just reached the underwater area. I got lost because I went back to kill Sloth. The compass icon was so misleading.

That path was blocked by a tentacle they only way across was by serpant hole so the compass couldn't account for that

Yes, but from where he was the only way through the tentacle was to take a serpant hole, the compass doesn't account for serpant holes so it could only show the way to take as if there was no tentacle there

After first fight you need to go straitful forward. There will be a giant trawler with Lust. After that you will get Force Hollow.

You can finish the game without ANY serpent hole.
