Darksiders III

Is anyone having FPS problems?
I see lots of threads talking about the combat, difficulty, etc... but no one single thread about this, and i use to see them in every discussion page, no matter how optimized the game is. So this is making me worry about my rig. I have a damn good PC, and the fps goes to the 50's playing on 1080p epic settings. Is this normal? Anyone is experiencing this? Thanks in advance.

Experiencing solid 60 except in the starter area and shipyard.
gtx 1080ti
i7 6700k
saved on an ssd
turn antialiasing and foliagequality on high instead of epic, this helped me (i dont rly see a difference, only if i look closer). specially the foliagequality is what let the fps drop in first areas around the tree

Im having problems in the shipyard only, and a bit around the tree too, but also experiencing some lag when the game loads a new area. Maybe is because i did the 144fps unlock, and that makes the fps more unstable? Idk...
I get a lot of stuttering in some areas where it'll drop down to the 50's for a second before going back up to 60. Must be a problem with the game itself since it happens both on max and lowest settings.

Same here but I uncapped the fps but even then it still stutters.
My frame rate keeps dipping everywhere I go. I go from 60 to anywhere between low 50's and mid 40's. It doesnt matter what what settings I have on, it just keeps stuttering and dipping out of nowhere whenever it feels like it.

I get this too exactly as already described with fps uncapped.

Cpu usage is really high with this game. Even when there's nothing going on the cpu usage is really high.
That's probably the biggest cause of stuttering i would guess.
I hope they can optimize the game more in upcoming patches.
My game only uses 60% max of my gpu (980ti) and uses a lot of CPU (i7 3770k 3.5hz). I'm using the current Nvidia drivers which are said to be optimized for this game. I played the game on my gf's PC and her cpu usage is a lot lower and her GPU usage hits 100% with np. Game runs like butter. She has a 980ti (like me) and an i7 5930k (3.5ghz) cpu.

I can play open world games such as Witcher 3 at max settings and keep a consistent 60fps with no issues... and that game looks 10x better than Darksiders 3... So what gives? :/

Edit: She is using driver 416.81 btw.

So a lot of people suffer in that tree area too? My PC is getting older but it has to be an optimization issue when framerate drops from 60FPS 99% of the time to 45FPS in that one area.
