Why Fury and not Famine
So I was wondering, why do they named her fury instead of famine, cause I'm very sure the rider of black horse should be called famine. War and Death are accurate names but somehow not Fury or am I missing something!?

Famine and Pestilence didn't make it, because I guess they aren't badass enough. Killing enemies with scales would be... weird.

I can't say I especially like Fury replacement - so far I don't find her that interesting as a premise. But I'm very excited for Strife. Always had a soft spot for gunslingers, and I'm really interested to see how they will combine proper shooting with slasher mechanics.

Because in Darksiders universe there are no Famine and Pestilence, there are Fury and Strife.

None of the names are canon anyway. In the Bible only Death was named, the rest were open to interpretation. Pestilence, War and Famine come from the most popular interpretation, Darksiders just offers a different one, more suited for a series of video games.
becasue Fury sounds better

I know, right? I've always wanted to mildly annoy my foes by making them slightly peckish.

I remember reading that they swapped out famine and pestilence because they were struggling to find combat mechanics that fit those themes.

Do you really want to starve or disease your enemies?

Hoenstly, the whole story of Darksiders, as awesome as it is, is not by the biblical book. It doesn't have to be, so do not worry about it.

well it's "loosely" based off of the book of revelations but that is the thing. It uses that book for inspiration but it does it's own thing, which is a good thing.
