Save bug

After I got stomped by the last void boss I decided to level in the crucible but after I quit to main screen and re-entered the game I was back in the void area with none of my levels.... anyone else experience save issues where the game just doesn't autosave no matter what teleporter you go to or even quitting the game? If it's something avoidable I'd love to know how but as it stands I'm just re-downloading and hoping that fixes it...

I think I'm having the same problem because I just lost a few hours of progression only to return to my last save in the Void. I saw another post about disabling Steam Cloud Save for the game, maybe try that? I'm going to try that myself and see if it resolves the issue.

Had this happen to me last night. Attempted the final boss of The Void DLC a few times but decided to come back later. I went and cleared out most of The Scar, saved & quit, and it loaded me back up in The Void with all that progress lost.

So heads up, keep an eye out for that red saving icon after warping out of the DLC. Maybe S&Q somewhere outside that zone to be sure.

This happened to me today. I am playing first time on Apocalyptic, I beat the crucible to 100, got the crucible 100 gear, got to level 51 also got all 20 humans today and played about 7hours.

I came back on now to finish and kill ionos and all that progress was gone. I was back to level 48 my stasis weapon was back to level 9, my armour was gone and I was missing some of the enhancements.
What is worse is I just collected an enhancement again and I can no longer socket it.

My save is bugged I can't progress anymore, I can't even equip new items.

I am considering using a cheat engine mod to replenish myself to the correct level and beat the crucible again because the game has just cheated me badly out of the experience and I have lost faith that it will save my progress any longer.

I don't know what else to do, its not like Nordic is going to send me a fixed save file with everything done on apocalyptic apart from Ionos and Pride.

I looked up some stuff and apparently its a glitch that has been around ages and hasn't been fixed.

I reinstalled the game and it fixed the problem for me. Now it saves the game

I think I found out ( same bug same time ) You need to quit just after dying at the animation to respawn, ( just to be sure I tried somewhere elese and it worked), somehow the game save properly now

Yes I had the same Problem now I make a save copy of the savefile (found in AppData Local)
