Hollow weapons changing during battle?

Clearly I don’t own this game on steam, but I own it on Xbox One. I’ve already beaten the keepers of the void DLC, so all of their weapons I have. I just had a question about something. Sometimes in the middle of a fight or long battle I notice that my hollow weapon has changed. IE while in flame hollow form when I countered sometimes I go from using Talons to Chains. I like the KotV weapons better, So it doesn’t make sense that I would have the base hollow weapons equipped. Anyone have any explanations?

I don't have the quick weapon swap option active, I made sure it was off.

There is a bug with the Force Hollow Axe reverting back to the Mallet during some strings. Nothing you can do about it but hope for a patch.

EVERYONE I FIGURED IT OUT. Tapping LB (im on controller) quick switches the Hollow weapon equipped. Not the form change, but just between the 2 weapons. Watch the weapon icon next time you press your Hollow button. go to any hollow form that has both weapons and tap it. figured it out just by happenstance.

I'm always baffled by this. The game came out four years ago. They've even put out another Darksiders game since this one. Do people really think there's folks at these companies sitting around and patching every tiny issue folks find with these games? (Especially when this isn't even a glitch).
