Encountered a strange bug with the new force hollow weapon

Basically if you equip the Axe of Scorn and do 2 (or more) whip attacks, one axe attack, then hold the axe button, you will immediately be switched to the Mallet of Scorn for the charge attack. The Mallet will then stay equipped afterwards as if you switched to it in the menu.

This doesn't happen if doing only 1 whip attack at the start of the combo, and it also doesn't happen for the flame or storm weapons (Haven't got the stasis one yet). Just a weirdly specific issue which I only noticed because I occasionally do that combo because it looks cool! (It's not actually very good damage-wise though :<)

The bug has been mentioned in various threads by different players, yet I've seen no acknowledgement from the devs yet. It's like you described. If you do a combo crossover from 2+ standard whip attacks followed by the axe, you get switched from force axe to the hammer. Makes the axe pretty much unusable in the heat of the battle, which is a shame, as I like its moveset and speed. IIRC we haven't had a patch since the original release of keepers of the void, which is kind of odd, considering such a glaring bug is still present and I can't imagine this to be something obscure or hard to fix.

Heh, great news then and bad timing on my part. I uninstalled it a few days ago, when I gave up the hope of a timely fix and wanted to wait for my remaining armageddon runs until the axe was usable. Back to installing.
