Reaching the Giant Kraken without Salvation?
I have encountered the Kraken boss and it seems I need a long range weapon to hit his eyes. The thing is I dont even have Salvation, yet. I had to look up that it even exists since this is my first playthrough. My quiestions:

1. Is there a way to defeat him without Salvation?
2. Can I leave the boss arena somehow, because my 4.000+ souls are stuck in there (Edit: nvm, I exited the game and it spawned me at the last checkpoint with all my souls on hand)

You get the boomerang after you defeat the Angelic Champion (the angel) in the Bonelands.
Have you already done that? ... and no, you can't defeat the Kraken without it.

I'm curious about how you got to the Kraken without talking to the angels.

I don't know man. I would love to tell you but I was just playing the game...

I am tracking down the yellow skull that's on my radar right now. That and the blue one are available too me at the moment. The blue one leads me to the Kraken.

You. Can't. Get. To he Kraken without the Salvation. It's simple.
I've already played the game after patch. Good as before, Uriel gave me the Salvation after the first meeting.

I'm telling you man, I somehow managed to do so anyway.

Honestly, it's pretty easy to miss that gap you have to cross to get to the Angel's hideout.

Probably because there was a loading problem. I bet you manage to take the shorcut before entenring the angels' lair.
I fear you must restart the game.

If you sre on checkpoint, then go the beginning of the bonelands (hulking corpse) and pass thrgough. Eventually you will meet Uriel.

Oh, I probably should have mentioned that I went back and got Salvation and beat the Kraken (actually I beat it for good, if you know what I mean).

I thought there was gonna be a part later in the game where I can't continue and have to restart.
