Any news on a new Thea game?
I would very much welcome Thea 3.

the next Thea game is a spin-off, think Thea but with some Shadowrun thrown into it.

So instead of swords we will get the recipes for decks, pistols and handblades?
Or Earthdawn style and we stay in the classic fantasy setting?:D

It's still a little early for us to know all the details but it seems to be a sci-fi

Hopefully Muha returns to their focus of interesting storytelling combined with 4X/Survival root regardless of the world building. The MoM remake was largely disappointing to me since I play Muha's game for their branching narrative events.

I second that, I would like to see thea more dedicated to gods, so every god pick plays more unique, different starting locations, different artstyle, quests, maybe some extra classes bound to god choice, and so on and maybe a better diplomatic game system and so on. I really loved Thea 1 and 2, but I see some more potential.

There's a note on their website from late August of this year. A "Thea 3" is being baked, set in the future, in a post-apo urban world. We should have more infos in the next few months.

Hopefully it can keep its grim dark fantasy style even if it becomes also a sci-fi.

"Now Baba Yaga has access to industrial ovens, so she launched her own franchise.
"Fried Hansel and Baked Gretchen". All those hags and other monstrosities can finally get together to enjoy their...hard earned(kidnapped) meal."

"The story of the frog prince is now just a fable, that hardly anyone believes is true. Frogs are the best source for nervous system wrecking poison. So only those who gave up dare to kiss a frog, in hope to break a curse. Their own cursed existence, the frogs...or both."

"The Piper supposedly saved many towns in the past...but with the Fall, even the story changed. The rats he lead to their demise are now his army. And they are not friendly. The Piper now runs a protection ring. Pay up...or his rats will deal with you. Rats that are controlled by the pipers instrument, which resonates with the nanomachines implanted in their brains provide absolute control. A forced evolution of some, also allowed for the ratkin to walk on two legs and use of their front paws as hands. Many who refused the Piper, ended up becoming the dinner for pig or horse sized rats...and their riders, the ratkin."

"The ents were once called wise and gentle creatures. Protectors of the forests. They say some of them still are. But their vast majority now has aquired a new taste. A taste for blood. Those that enter the wrong forest, can only hope, that their bones are found...once these horrid ents move to fresher hunting grounds."

OMG, I absolute HATE the art style. Such a shame :(
Based on the promotional image, I'm guessing there'll be some randomly generated random character portray. Which would explain why they would go with a western comic book like style than the painting like style from Thea 2.

I also don't like it as much as Thea 2's style. But I'll reserve my judgement till the game come out. I don't think it look too bad considering the setting of this new game.

Yeah, will not play it, I was hoping for a real Thea 3. The art is not my taste and the cyperpunk style neither.

Man.. so sad. I was hoping for something like the first game only upscaled, properly optimized, fantasy setting and lore. Big disappointment. Good luck to them though, I will skip this one.
