In support for MuHa Games

Seeing that the Support thread had to be closed because it got out of hand and some wild accusations are thrown around, i wanted to share a little story with all of you.

A long time ago when Thea was in EA, they released an artwork that broke my heart. A small part of that artwork looked very similar to a symbol that i coudnt stand. I know that the meaning behind that wasnt what it looked like, but it was still hard to look at.

I was torn what to do.
Ignore it? Start a thread in the forum?

Knowing how this forums can be, i decided against a forum post, but i had a hard time playing with this artwork. So i decided to send an email to Muha directly. Fully known that it will end up in the spam folder, i did it more for me personally, then to actually get any respons.

And boy was i wrong.

Not only did i get a personal respons from Muha, they explained to me that the art i have a problem with has a complete different meaning, but they can understand my troubles.
Knowing that they didnt just ignore my troubles was helping, but what came after that is the reason why MuHa earned my respect.
On the same day, a patch was released that actually changed the picture in question.
Holy Moses, not only did they take my personal troubles and feelings seriously, they even changed the picture.
I am just one guy, they had absolutly any right to say "we dont care about you", but they didnt. They are caring about there community, even if it is just one dude.

I never shared this story, to avoid drama, but seeing that they get some hate because they support Ukraine, i had to share this with the community.


Always remember that behind the names and the logos, there are ppl, and in MuHas case actually careing ppl.

And to all ppl behind MuHa games, dont let the negativity get to you. The ppl that scream the loudest are not the majority. Keep up your heads and do what you think is right.

People completely missed the point anyway. Like helping innocent victims, regarldess the side you are on, is a bad thing?... Since when is that a political stance... You either help the whole world or u help no1? sigh..

Anyway, with all this mess i remembered the fun i had playing both Thea and Thea 2, and im installing T2 again for a rerun.

Also, the developers always were attentive to the community regarding the game, and as a gamer, that is priceless. You can see the love and dedication they bring to their games, and that in my eyes has been their priority.

Well, english is not my language, but i'll try to explain my despite.
Basicly Muha games are helping no one with this action, because for now practically there is no way to bye something in Steam if you are in Russia or Belorus. So Muha games will receive money for humanitarian help only from Ukraine. And for some reasons i think ukranian people can help each other with more directly ways than bying games in this hard time.
Maybe Muha games didn't know all details and it's just stupid, not hypocritical PR, but it doesn't look good anyway.

I remember when Muha took a strong stance for people of Syria, Lybia, Yemen, Iraq for their suffering and the unprovoked aggression against their countries. Such a noble stance. Wait..what..they didn't? I love Thea and have bought everything you were selling, but because of your blatant political stunt, you have lost a loyal customer.

They are a polish developer team which is why it's something they personally care about.
By your logic every child cancer charity is just a bunch of hypocrites because they don't support literally every suffering child/human/animal/plant on earth.

People also need to understand that if you leave because of some "political stunt" that you yourself interpret as such (unless you want to argue against helping the PEOPLE that have lost their families, friends, homes are starving or worse I can't even touch because steam guidelines would nuke me from orbit) you are not a loyal customer. You're just a customer that enjoyed their products.
Loyal doesn't really mean crying injustice because your own personal view suddenly differs from what you assume theirs is.
