Blue Orc Issue

I need help from one of the Thea cracks here. I wanted to do a blue orc run and roleplay as a pirate crew. I currently have one chosen male brute and one female boatswain. I also have one blue orc child that I want to become a quartermaster. According to my excel file, I need one adult pirate (I have the two I listed) and 6 mysticism (the kid has 8). Problem is, I only ever get the default option to "teach the kid some fighting skills". The game acts like I don't have any adult pirates in my group, basically killing my run. What can I do?

I wanted a child to grow up into a specific class, and couldn't get it to work. But I now have. Turns out that in order for blue orc children to get access to their rare classes, you don't need just any adult of their race, as is the case for all other races, but a blue orc with a specific class, the basic pirate. Not very intuitive, but whatever.
