100% wild gives you 40% fail chance and -5% masterwork
100% improved gives you 10% fail chance and no difference in masterwork
100% neutral gives you 0% fail chance and 5% masterwork
All that is then modified by crafting skill. low amount will increase fail chance and lower masterwork, high amount will decrease fail chance and increase masterwork.
Sadly I'm not aware of the exact breakpoints for that.
Also, if you mouse over the crafting skill it will give you a break down of how the number is calculated, with int/wis/destiny contributing to the end result.
But sadly nothing like this for masterwork calculation.
