Death Chance
How is the death chance calculated? I searched around, but i can only find rough numbers (like 30% at 0 health). I'd like to have a formula...
And are mutliple healers benefitial? Do they stack their death rate reduction? Do they at least stack their health regained per turn (I did read that you first regen health and then die or don't)?

1) stacking - abilities stack provided they are not bound to have different instances of a subskill on the same character. So in this case death prevention and healing stack.

2) health
Physical:
0% chance at 30%
30% chance at 0%
+0.4% chance for each further -1%

Mental:
0% chance at 30%
15% chance at 0%
+0.3% chance for each further -1%

Spiritual:
-0% max health at 30%
-25% max health at 0%
-0.8% max health for each further -1%

I know it's old, but this isn't true. Just had an event basically end a run on difficult because the event required 400 food I didn't have, so it drained 90% of the 4 characters sanity.

Nyia "Not Dead Yet" : -10% to die
Healer: -5% to die

So instead of all 4 of them having 15-10-5=0% chance to die, I lost 2 out of 4. There goes 100 turns worth of progress.

I think you're mistaking death chance and their cause of removal.
Pretty sure that reduced death chance has zero impact on losses through sanity because they are not dying, they're leaving.

Okay, sorry for this necro, however is this confirmed? The game describes leaving as "mental death", is there confirmation that Death Reduction doesn't affect that?

Lorska info is correct.

Script FLP_FilterRollForDeath & FLP_FilterRollForMentalBreakup in EditorScripts.cs

Healers and death chance affect only Physical Health
(DEATH_CHANCE_MODIFIER positive)
Best healer provides 100% its modifiers, second best provides 50%. There is no gain from more than top 2.

(DEATH_CHANCE_MODIFIER negative)
Two random debuffs provide: 100% and 50% of their strength.

Thanks!

So I guess the Nyia bonus would count as one maxed out healer.

What does this refer to? What are these, I take it, effects that increase physical death chance?

I believe there is a single effect out there that adds death chance but I've personally not come across it.

I think it was a curse type effect specific to one event or something so not something you should be concerned about :)
