Turmoil offering
Hi. I couldnt find any specifics about a question, so I decided to create a new discussion.
During the divine quest with Turmoil as my main domain, it asks me to give it ANY melee weapon. I tried giving legendary axe made of pure stone and composite metal, as well as an axe made of obsidian and stonewood (normal quality, all 6 slots were filled). Every time it gave me -1 strength and said my offering was dissapointing. Can anyone help me? What EXACTLY does it wants me to give? I cant find any clues anywhere, since it says to give ANY melee weapon, yet it refuses anything I can give to it.

It's actually quite complicated... I'd suggest that whole offering part gets a hard look to make it less obtuse...

I believe an elemental obsidian weapon was an option but don't quote me on that...

There should be two options: ANY melee weapon, or a melee weapon that doesn't suck. These are two separate things, I think the ANY option even specifically says you don't have anything good.

Pretty sure I've managed to get the good turmoil option with a normal weapon that has 4/5ths of the bar filled though.

Yeah, I understand that. What I dont understand though is how good my weapon should be? Should I just craft everything I can and approach it until I have something good?
I will try obsidian elemental weapon right now. Will report if I find anything.

You need a weapon made of a T3 material.
Obsidian is one of the options but obsidian weapons can only be offered in one of the possible outcomes.
Which T3 material based weapon needed depends on which options you pick leading up to having to give the weapon. So passing or failing certain challenges and picking different options changes which T3 weapon you need. Even arriving at the same outcome but picking a single different option can change what material type you need for the weapon.
It's very complex and unless you've spent some serious time looking at the event in the event editor you have no way of knowing beforehand which weapon you need.

Ohh... I see... Can I build weapons from every possible T3 material and bring them all? And is there a difference whether I bring normal\elemental\legendary weapons?

Being normal/elemental/legendary and/or garbage/normal/masterwork don't matter, just the material.

So 3 weapons are enough...
I guess you could start by matching colors to your domain (so mythical leather and mithrill weapon)

omg, THANK YOU! I finally managed it, by building normal mithril axe. Man, that quest is very obscure. Thanks again!

I think you can offer food as well, 25 and 50 respectfully. The quest will continue on with those offerings for Turmoil. I might be mistaken though but I think outside of the weapon offering there are other options. Including sacrificing one of your team members, which Turmoil loves.

As far as the weapon offering I do agree it's a bit misleading in transparency what exactly Turmoil weapon offering will suffice. It's pretty early on you get this quest as well, so confusion enhanced with the progress where you are in the game when you get the quest make it worse. I remember when I tried a bunch of weapons and was like geewiz what am I missing here. I had some pretty good offerings as well that weren't accepted.

I do think some small adjustments to the text or item required, both would do justice.
