Loving the goblin

I finally unlocked the tainted goblin shaman, and I love it. I love the fact that you can get goblin children that way, and that there are enough events that use goblins that it's more than just a cosmetic thing. I also like that the class isn't one you can normally get. I'd love to see more interesting nonhuman options and playable characters as opposed to pets.

Goblins are actually one of the possible outcomes for the changling grow up option. I've gotten them a couple times. But yes, they are cool, though they seem predisposed to growing up into only one class (craftsmen)

There's definitely other types of goblins! I've had mostly the Goblin Toilers (craftsmen), but I've also had a Goblin gatherer and a Goblin Beast Tamer (?), which is a hunter-equivalent and definitely not a Boar Rider. I ended up with a bunch of them on the previous patch by starting with the tainted shaman, human warrior and then my child grew into a goblin craftswoman meaning I ended up with a large number of goblin children growing up. I think I only got the one gatherer, and definitely only got the one tamer, with 3 or 4 craftsmen gobbos.

I didn't mean to imply that goblins can only grow up one way. There are four: crafter, gatherer, fighter, and beastmaster. It's just that in my experience you will more than half of the time have them grow up to craft.
