Currency and trading (plus npc players)
Have a few questions:

1. Will there be currency in the game? Seems like society has recovered enough to use it, there are exploring ships in this one right? So that would indicate a lot of organization :) any ideas?

2. Trading: would be cool to trade with other npc groups or players kinda like how the current one works in multiplayer. Maybe different groups value different things? Like trading with a nomadic and starving group of orcs may want food more, while a well organized and supplied human city may be only wants high tier crafts and such?

3. Let’s say me and a friend play, will there be a third nation as a npc? Or will there be other groups ingame building cities, forming parties, etc. that you can ally with or destroy? Would be cool to see a named orc in a city and then to go out adventuring and see that same orc >.< would make for some cool stuff

Anyways that’s all the questions for now

1. No currency still, as you will find out, the world has grown, but it is not out of the woods in terms of impending doom, so barter is still the main thing.
2. Yes, trade is much improved in T2 and you can trade in faction towns (provided you have the loyalty for it) or sometimes just npc's/events
3. There are many different factions in the world, but how many per game depends on rng. Generally speaking we have Slavyans (main human faction probably most likeminded to yours); Scavengers (also mostly humans); Spirit Talkers (goblins) ; Woodlandkin (Elves) Erathbound (Dwarves) Alpha Clans (orcs) and then several less 'civilised' factions too.

So on the topic of trade, in Thea 1 for lets say the dziody, you traded (I think) fuel and food for removal of curses, the problem came when the game chose your food and fuel.... Which was kinda annoying, and I think it didnt scale on how many people were in your party? Will we get more of a MP barter window style for those quests? So we can give extra, the right amount, or less if its better food?

Secondly, will those civs build towns/whatever and have named units? Will we be able to kill off the factions if we choose? Also finally will there be any NPC on NPC fighting we can either watch, or help one side?

On another note, can players fight players?

Also what are DLC plans if I may ask? (I am planning on buying Thea 1 coffee for coding, will that help Thea 2?)

Sorry for all the questions :) I just really love Thea and would like to know more about THea 2 >.<

Also is Win10 mandatory?

This time, in trade, you choose what you give.

Factions will have loyalty levels, and so yeah you can help one over another sometimes. Also, you can destroy faction tows and if you destroy all the faction will disappear. No PVP.

No dlc plans yet, we will focus on the release, make it best we can, then see how we go ;)

and about Win, it is recommended but will work on older too as far as we can see so far in tests.

Thanks again, I hope you guys can test Win7 properly, I absolutely refuse to get Win10 and ill be super sad if I have to miss out on this game because of that (Also I have 3 likeminded friends that intend to get it as well, all of us have Win7)
