Divine Path
Hmm..
There are two different outcomes from divine quest.
One where you get to choose between different kinds of upgrades or increased chances for various classes on growing up event, like higher chance for bandit class to appear or increased stats if you choose healer etc.

the other one which is the cool one you get a chance for your children to grow up as a new unique race, like lightsick rusalka and whatnot.

But it really confuses me how you get to the second outcome in the divine quest.
Can anyone clarify? Been looking in the event editor but can't really see what makes the difference.

Your god makes the difference.

in the event editor it says there are two branches in the ending of every divine quest.

these are either the unique race OR
buff from one of the domains your god has, like harmony or turmoil.

the question is, how do you choose either? played like 250 turns with lada cuss i heard she gives your children the chance of becoming light sick rusalkas but instead i got harmony/something else instead. it sucked.

I know Marovit only did not give me a option for a race. Horz did though, and the only difference was I did not "follow his path" according to him, what ever that means.

I've got special option (and magic user tag with some purple stats) from Marovit by following path of magic. More specific, my choices in Divine quest were:
1) Spared Slavian village and its Chosen (3rd option in his encounter).
2) Accepted my duty in dream sequence.
3) Acknowledged raven as divine messenger, picked 3rd option as anwser on his question.
4) Beaten witches in magic duel (you need to have witch in your party).
5) Empowered Zmey by feeding him lightbringers.
6) Empowered Marovit by either yellow or purple challenge (both are good).

Are you sure these choices matter?

Not sure if all of them, but some should. First two were explicitly stated to fit with my chosen domain by Theodore and raven. At the very least, other choices are safe pick for those who strive to achieve Marovit's special option. You are probably safe to offer to witches one of their desired sacrifices and empower Zmey any other way, though.

The choices discussed are irrelevant, at least if I interpret the event editor correctly.

All of the gods have two requirements that must be met, for the special classes, but there are two ways to fulfill both requirements.

For example, I like to play as Lada, and the requirements for the special classe are as follows:

A: Have two children or three healers among my followers (they do not all need to be in the expedition doing the divine quest).

B: Have three followers with 15+ Intelligence or three followers with the 'attractive' tag.

You only need one from A and B, but you cannot do two from A to avoid a B requirement and vice versa. Further information can be found in the event editor under the "Divine" tab.

I hope this helps in some way.

Impressive!
Really have no idea where these requirements come from in the event editor.
All I can find is this.

I got Marovits special which is Czorts just now (those goatriding halfgoats). They suck pretty much, but was fun to unlock them.
All I can say is i had 2 demons(ice demon and Czorts), 3 witches and 3 zercas then a bunch of random characters. I also had about 3 people with above 15 in both destiny and mysticism
if that matters... BUT WHO KNOWS.
