At the end of the day, nice toon! Next time I hope you get blessed with a better result, even if you do the same exact setup you're able to net a different result (Replayability).

I just hope I got it right uploading this. :)
For some reason I never get just the picture!
I have nothing against people who want a pure playthrough without trying to 'game' the system. But just knowing what stats to aim for and what possible results could be would be a great benefit.
Like, I had a female child with enough mysticism and luck to trigger the witch branch.
And here are some of the results I got:
- She dies.
- She becomes a witch but starts with a curse and stat reduction.
- She becomes a witch.
- She dies but returns as a wraith.
- She becomes a witch but gets turned into a spider by another witch (Spider Queen magic user).
Obviously some of these results are pretty cool, some are arguably better or worse than the others.
But given that some "class" options come with unique skills? Unless you know this ahead of time you are essentially just rolling the dice and hoping for something good to pop up.
Even with the limited information I've been able to find online and learn from my own playthrough I'm noticing a lot better results for my playthrough. Being able to nudge children in the right directions to open up branching paths and so on.
Plus some of this information would be great for a more RP-oriented playthrough. You want to get a proper demonic/magic party? Here are some of the options that could result in demon offsping, and here are some of the unique skills that each of those could get.
But no, that information is pretty much nowhere to be found.
Similarly, how to get certain items. Like in my previous playthrough I seemed to have gotten a bunch of horses from random encounters which is amazing for your carry capacity.
No clue what the logic behind the reward was though.
Meanwhile I'm fairly certain that if you have the Czort encounter on the first island (the one where craft can help you knock his tooth out) and you then leave him to his faith on the followup encounter I seemed to have gotten a Skshack pet most if not all times. Which gives like 4½~5 Gathering.
Nothing against RNG. But knowing where to look if I want to aim for something would definitely help.
If you want a shot at getting a baby elf all by yourself, you need another character (aside from the elf) with the traits attractive and beautiful.
There's a spoiler in the blackout lines, don't read if you do not like to know too much!
Can confirm that pure Chance has the possibility of netting:
For Slavyan:
---Bird Lady Demon
---Tornado
---Magic User Fat Rat(read: Best version of the rat class)
---Goblin Crafter
For Goblins:
---Demon Wolf of the Swamp
---White Fairy demon
---Tooth Fairy
For Dwarven:
---Rock Elemental
Stribog's Blessing:
---Merman Demon
The Aurora's Blessing:
---Owlady
Marovit:
---Ice Child of doom
No idea if Warrior+Chance option actually nets something besides a Warrior or other normal classes. Same with Wisdom+Chance.

Marovit also gave me
A chort - sorry, no screenie, it wasn't that good for the short time I had them before Domination Victory kicked in, but maybe I wasn't building them up right
Slavyan (Chance) Vily
seems pretty meh stat-wise, but is useful during sea-travel event that offers a chance of recruit a much, much better Viatroviec. Don't know if Vily's presence is considered for the recruitment chance, or to trigger the event.
Slavyan Witch is very, very nice. I'm pretty sure you need 4 Mysticism (pets contribute) for it to kick in. What I noticed doing some shameless save-scumming is that more than 4 points seems to break the event.
Had a Stork-delivered kid while clearing Goblin land mass that accumulated 7 Mysticism, and I could not get any option other than "crafter/gatherer" until I removed their +1 Mysticism cat (so, 8 Mysticism total at that point), and even then things seemed glitched - you'd expect the "witch" trigger to be more reliable at 7 than 4, but no. Had to put a +1 Perc dog on her to get non-basic events at all.
Anyway, Slavyan Witch events can result in:
A wraith - excellent stats, but apparently is not considered [Magic User], and will not benefit from +Mysticism gain chance in some events, unlike the witch). On the other hand, some events acknowledge her [Unliving] tag.
Spider Queen - don't recall if it's [Magic User] or not, but think not. Nice enough stats, but an animal, and I think slot limits apply.
Cursed Witch - some stat losses and a Curse you need to remove. Second best.
"Young Witch" - she might have a bit lower stats than the "Human Witch" - haven't realized there's a difference between the two until now, and I have them at vastly different levels in that archive save. Or maybe she's better in the long run? No clue. Still a nuker.
"Human Witch" - probably the best Slavyan character you can get, period. Not only will a lot of events have potential trigger for +1 Mysticism gain (which is really the only stat witches need, heh), with a Codex she's a nuker in all type of challenges. A bit squishy, but works superb when shielded by either Warrior or Zerca, depending on challenge type.
While on the subject, does anybody know exact mechanics for non-human grow up events?
I've been messing around with "non-human kid" starts, and turns out most of the professions I was interested in are hard locked behind either loyalty or profession/race presence in the group that are impossible in non-modded start combinations. What annoys me is that even looking at the editor things are... vague, at best, so I was hoping somebody had it figured out.
Already found out Elf Child start, aimed at "magic user" progression, is worthless without having a [Magic User] character along. Not sure how it works for combat-oriented elf, so any information would be appreciated.
Orcs apparently need faction loyalty for better results? Couldn't get even my Strength 7 kid to get a chance at anything other than gatherer/crafter, and that was with a high +2 strength level-up roll. So, how the hell do you get a combat Orc profession in the first place, and is it even possible without faction loyalty?
From what I found out, dorfs apparently need another dorf or loyalty, so didn't even try. Would appreciate detailed clarification if possible.
No clue about Goblins, even if I ended up with a gatherer. Again, further information would be very appreciated. Though my "Goblin Toiler" ended up being incomparably better with a bow than my two hunters, so there's that. Toiler seems to run on secondary stats, so you get high Perception, Wisdom, AND Destiny potential (in my case it was about twice the values of Hunters on the same level).
Anyway, tl:dr: If anybody has specifics about triggers for grow-up events, especially of non-humans, it'd be really nice to see them all together somewhere. Much appreciated.
I believe this was the most recent list

By the way, do you know if this is observational information, or something presumably done by decompiling Unity asset files themselves?
I noticed mention of .xml lookup in previous threads, which I assume are somewhere within the Unity packs files?
Edit: Thank you again, this was extremely helpful.
Though now I wonder what the effective difference is between [Young Profession] and [Profession].
Also, a bunch of characters mention "chance to witch"? Meaning, they can turn to witch if upgraded enough?
There is literally nothing in there that says "chance to witch". If you mean those with "swap to witch" then they mean that the character gains the skill package of a witch.
Edit: One thing that I do wonder about in all of this - if the excel sheet is correct (and my ineffective savescumming certainly suggests so), an orc child for a group without an orc or orc loyalty has only 5% chance of becoming a warrior. That seems prohibitively low of a percentage, to put it mildly.
Also, prevents me from enjoying my Turmoil-focused Triglav Orc chosen :(
A mistake so many people make is assuming that the non-human child they started with means that they can get a mage, druid, matriarch, or some other powerful class quickly. The first child from a non-human race you start with is the stepping stone into that race with which to try and mold the future children with.
