ah yes, posting the same exact announcement to almost every game of yours simultaneously is definitely not going to annoy those who've bought your entire existing catalog. if I want to join the 11 bit Discord server, I will do so when I am interested in doing so. would've just been better to add a link to the store page or to drop a link at the end of a blog or dev diary for each respective game (y'know, like everyone else does). it'd be one thing if it was a link on a single game, but 11 bit is a publisher now--one that regularly has steep sales and participates in cheap bundles and giveaways, no less--I already know that I'm going to basically buy any game from 11BS eventually (even ones I am not that interested in, I have multiple copies of), and I don't play 11B games regularly enough now to really be all that interested. not to mention, it's not like 11B routinely announce new games like Devolver or Fellow Traveler do, so it's like--I'm not gonna be there to get news on upcoming games (at least, not now), I don't feel compelled to give my compliments to the chef, I've no interest in seeing if the 11B community is alright, and spamming the link in my face does not fill me with confidence that there wouldn't be flurries of unnecessary pings.

it's not a huge deal, obviously, but I really don't think this was a great, professional way of promoting the Discord link. especially considering that it'll inevitably bug those who've collected your catalog thus far.

You know what's weird? I'm having almost entire catalog and I got that announcement only as "Moonlighter announcement". I don't know why, maybe I'm just lucky, which I doubt...
