How to set prices?

I'm using an XBox360 controller.
The game lets me place items on my tables but I still don't know how to change price? Basically I'm currently offering everything for sale for free!?
Someone help!

Also, how to discard or destroy items from your backpack? Got a full bag after defeating first boss, tons of stuff I don't want to leave on the floor.

Aha, I discovered it.
To set prices you need to actually select and click "A" on the price window, then up/down/left/right to adjust value.
To discard items (toss them on the floor) select it in your pack and then hit "Y" to close the pack, you will toss them when your pack menu closes. Then in next room I found the mirror anyway.

if you have special mirror you can change items to gold

WAIT I just realized i solve the problem :D

It was just weird figuring out that in this game you have TWO commands to sell items; the "set on table" function is separate from the "name your price" function. In most shop games it's both in one button: select the item then press up/down to change price. So it just took me a minute.
And for the mirror, I asked the question before I found it. Remember you don't get it until level 2 of the first dungeon.
