info on shop assistant

so i hired the employee person because i wasn't sure if declining would give me the opportunity again + i thought they would be in the store with me during open hours but now with them in the shop (3rd upgrade) i can't open shop. if i go to the door it only lets me exit though i have put objects on all the sale tables. uh mostly asking because I don't know how else to meet with the customers that make requests to give them their stuff. help?

OK but for anyone with the same problem:

I exited the game and it sent me back to the saved file i had which was right before I purchased the store upgrade and made my mistake. so since i couldn't find anything about the shop assistant/employee on steam i'll add that here.

What happens if you do say 'yes'?

They will run the shop for a day while you go into the dungeons. During this time you can't go back and run the shop yourself when they are keeping it for you, this means, if you have any requests to fill for that day you won't be able to meet them during store hours (to my current knowledge).

What happens if you say 'no'?

They will still be there tomorrow and the day after, you can enlist their help with the agreement of the 30% rate, etc. If you run the shop yourself they will assist you for free (without 30%) and chase thieves for you (they won't catch them 100% of the time and can sometimes block the way).
