Missing Textures

Some textures like chests, items and certain NPC sprites aren't appearing. Does anyone know what the problem is and if there is a fix? I'm on mac and my computer isn't very powerful, which may be the problem.

Same issue here, 2011 MacBook Air. As i was unable to fix it by myself somehow, i'll refund. It's very unpleasant to play when all the chests and npc in certain positions are only round shadows.

I'm having the same issue on GNU/Linux. However, this extends to some items as well.

I can´t see chests or items, also the guys NPCs disappear when they stop moving, i´m on mac, but this error seems to be affecting not only me, so, pls fix this textures.

I just purchased this game and am also experiencing this bug. Makes the game a bit unplayable when the shop items don't appear.

for me the items and dungeon chests are invisible and npc's in town also are mostly invisible. Also the light emitted from torches or lamps at night is bright purple.

Hello, sorry for replying to an old thread, but I bought the game from Humble Bundle 21 a couple of weeks ago or so, and I'm having issues with missing textures like items and NPCs not appearing. I'm also seeing large hot purple squares with yellow centres for the torches. Is there something I need to update to fix this? I'm running Elementary OS Hera as my OS if that helps.

Me too (Linux) I have armor equipped but the space appears blank where the item should be visible. I still have it but it is a graphical glitch. I tried restarting the game, but that didn't help... so far have been unable to find a workaround.

For me, at least, armor and weps were visible in inventory/equip slots if 'plain'. Once I enchanted them, they became invisibile. I'm guessing there's some visual effect that comes with enchantment that triggers this glitch, maybe due to a shader loading problem. Also note how NPC sometimes disappear .. like when shopping (special effect/animation for shopping?)

You're right I just noticed it consistently happens when the armor is enchanted. At first it was just the chest plate, but now the whole set is invisible! :D

It still don't work in 2024, I just enchanted my armor and it just disappeared. That bug is still there.
