How Does a Cheap Sale Box Actually Work?

For starters, I freaking love this game so far even if it doesn't give me as many abilities as a usual Zelda-inspired game. I want to see if it's worth buying a Cheap Sale Box or if I'd just be losing money on it and it's just easier to sale stuff with overtime.

I'd assume you'd put items into the sales box, and all the items automatically get discounted for whatever % of price you've got. A higher tier box discounts for less, so you could essentially get away with putting in a bunch of items that are marked up by a certain percentage and just sell it like that. If someone buys something from the box, the funds are automatically put into your coin pouch without them needing to run up to the register.

That being said, you'd first have to SELL said item as a standard stock item (basically get an actual # price into your notebook) and THEN you'd be able to just cram said item into the discount box.

I think thieves will target the box too, so be careful.

Do we get any bonus for catching thieves or are they just a pain?

You don't get your stuff stolen, that's always a bonus bud. Later on you can unlock a shopkeeper assistant who MIGHT run down thieves for you, but she's not great at it.
