Wanderer (green big monster that kills you in one hit)
In my opinion it spawns WAY too fast. I' m having fun in the dungeon exploring, collecting, you know? Then boop he spawns and I wasn' t even that long on the floor. The time u have to explore should be extended by a bit because for me it takes a bit away of the fun

unless you afk there should be plenty of exploring time. You can get all rooms (maybe not secret rooms) well before he spawns. I've even had time to run form one side of the map to the other and back before he spawns.

Even when he spawns, it's easy as hell to evade him.

I think there might be a bug with how quickly he may show up. I've had it where I've spent plenty of time checking every room and every hidden place-- and never saw him. And then I've had time where I've zoomed through-- but he was spawning by the time I got to the pool of health.

One thing to keep in mind is that the game is not paused when the map is up on the screen. You can still move and everything. And that timer keeps on ticking down.

I had him show up once normally, but I was spending a long time in the arena secret room.

He only shows up for me now when I steal the secret item in the secret room.

Why can't I take as much time as I want exploring the dungeon? Remove the silly thing! If you want to blast through it then fine, I like to get o every room before I leave. It is how I like to play it. At least make in optional.
The biggest issue I had with the Wanderer is there was no warning I have a time limit, and when he spawned in, no indication that he was a special monster that's invincible. I found him to be a cheap beginner's trap the first few times. I had to search around online to find out info about him to figure out what was going on. The game should have giving some sort of indication or warning of some special monster in the dunctions during the tutorials, but I got nothing.

Now that I know the deal, I'm not having too much trouble avoiding him, but I was completely boned the first time he showed up and I though he was just another monster I had to fight to open up my way out of that room.

Now the 2 main ways I can see him being problematic is:

1- He spawns in while I'm trapped in a room and can't leave in any way at all, not even the amulet, which usually happens when I'm in a mimic room. Dealing with a mimic and the wanderer at the same time would be a bit much.

2- He spawns in while I'm dealing with a slime who keeps paralizing me and I don't have time to fight it as I keep having to run away from the Wanderer.

Honestly though the wanderer is so slow he's not really a problem, even with a room with some enemies (because he never spawns at the beginning of a room with enemies, you've probably killed a nice amount in there) it's pretty easy to dodge around attack a bit then dodge a bit again. The only time he's a real problem is if for some reason you stuck with the worse weapon type, Sword and Shield, which has no real way to safely deal damage to enemies.

He is not a problem BUT some people like to take their time exploring rooms taking their time. The monster SOMETIMES spawns after 3-4 rooms (bugged I assume) or just way too fast and with him chasing you it takes the fun away of exploring the BOOTOOFOOOL game!

I've had a couple of times where he spawned ridiculously early. I think the last time it happened I was on the 2nd level of the Golem Dungeon, and I'd just finished exploring a chain of 3 rooms down, and was on my 3rd room in a long chain to the right when he spawned. I wasn't messing around staring at the map or in my inventory much that run either, pretty much just beelinging through the rooms, spending time in my inventory a couple of times when I had chests to empty.

Some of the rooms have VERY restricted movement, with pits and rubble blocking us off, but that the Wanderer just goes right through/over. Also, some of the enemies require very specific circumstances to hit, like the shield using golums where you have to hit them from behind, or that spikey thing that you can only hit when it's low enough after it's made a strike on you. Then there's the slimes, which hold you fast and if you're in a jam with the Wanderer on your butt, that can be all that's needed to let him get is God Whack in on you.

Unless there's some circumstance that's limiting our mobility, yes, I have found it is very possible to outrun the wanderer. Still, when he shows up, unless I already know where the door down is, I prefer to just Amulet on out as I won't be able to pick up much loot properly anyways, especially on the lower floors where many chest items have complicated rules to how to place them in the pack and my pack's already getting full by then so I need time to make decisions and shift things around.

I made this mistake, too, but was corrected that you can ALWAYS use the amulet.

I actually tried and it wasn't responding. I had more then enough gold but it wouldn't activate. If it's always supposed to then that was probably a bug.
