Can't use Pendant, stuck
Just got to the last room where the dead guy tells me to grab the map. Got the diagram, and saw some kind of graphic saying that once my inventory filled up, to use the pendant to teleport back.

But I can't find anyway to use the pendant. I'm holding B on my controller, that doesn't work. Tried the similar button with the keyboard. In my Inventory screen, it looks like I need 200 gold maybe to teleport back, but I only have 100 gold.

Am I just missing something obvious?

I ran into the same issue as well. Tried restarting the game and it still wont let me use the Pendant. I did use it once before i entered that last room, maybe I wasnt supposed to? idk if you did the same.

That could be it. I did as well. I'll just try restarting a save.

Hi, you need to explore that room, and find items to make 200 gold to be able to teleport out.

I ran into this same thing, and I managed to soft-lock the game this way as well. I'd picked up all items in the room, but couldn't sell anything to get 200gp :steamsad:

I suspect the issue is that we don't have 200 coins in order to use the pendant to warp out, having used 200 of our 300gp in a previous pendant use; the old guy won't let you back in the store to sell more, as I suspect he's waiting for you to trigger the next part of the story.

My brother, who also has the game, suggested selling items from my inventory to make up the 200gp...But I apparently don't have the ability to sell from my inventory yet. He laughed very hard when I had to admit I was so bad that the game didn't want to let me out of that room.

I honestly suspect that we were supposed to make it to that end room in one go, but I guess you (along with myself) didn't, used the pendant early and couldn't afford the second use :D

By the looks of it, It's a progression blocker that will need to be re-worked for those who play the game ultra-safe (or are just really bad, like me).

had the same thing happen, then i found out it costs money to use the pendant, which sucked as i had previously used it before and like you guys. got stuck. however it doesnt look like it is a constant 200gp everytime, as i just went in with 600+ gp and it took me down to 300gp.

The game is just broken. Idk why you think it costs 200g to use the pendant. Its not like the game tells you that. So if thats the case then yeah. The games just awful. My pendant is vibrating and pulsing a yellow circle, my invintory is full and i cant warp out. Only thing to do is die or maybe beat the dungeon. But im not gonna waste any more time with a game whos devs rip off every fantasy story litrpg and dungeon anime and are to awful ar graphic design to do anything other than the crappy 8 bit sprite look because ita so "retro". No its not retro, or cool. You just suck. So people woth this issue, youre not bad the game is just designed poorly. Hope u got it free like me and didnt waste any money on this trash heap of digital garbage.

The game told you that the use of the pendant seems to cost money, the first time you have to use it (it will show you 3 coins, but that does not mean that it is really 3 gold coins).
I was stuck and close to the dungeon boss and the pendant was just kind of "flashing" (like sending some "sort of wave") without letting me be able to use it. I died losing all my stuff, totally unfair :steamfacepalm:. There is a lack of work on the UI / UX (and feedbacks) it's frankly painful (as a game ux designer, it puts me out of me ! :steamsalty:)

Same here, I saved up for the Armoury/blacksmith went back in to the dungeon with 0 coin and couldn't teleport or of there and the door was locked, I couldn't even walk out of there. Seems like a fact idea. I don't remember it telling me it cost money to use.

"The game told you" is not true. Showing a graphic of three gold coins is not nearly the same as having explicitly told you. It should have been explained in the info dump.

I'm stuck there too, weird, I tried loading from the save. I think I accidently pressed L earlier, not sure if before the save, the pendant is flashing, I also can't open inventory or map once in that room, weird.

Same issue here.
Middle of a run, the B button is flashing at me to press it, but it doesn't work -- I don't have enough gold, it's only my 2nd run -- and the Bubble Bobble ghost is on my tail.

So, I let the ghost kill me, I lose everything, end up outside the dungeon.

This is a VERY broken mechanic. It leaves a very sour taste in the mouth.

Also: The "combat" system is barely there, the controls are as janky as hell, and nothing is explained properly. And items appear to be interactive, but then it turns out that they're not. And it's very hard to distinguish passable terrain from non-passable. And the inventory system was designed in hell.

Not sure I'm going to bother continuing. Super-frustrating game with too many poor design choices. :(

It's a shame because I really want to like it.

Im pretty sure you were supposed to die there
I was stuck there as well, and realized I just wasn't holding down the B button long enough for the the green circle to fully charge around the B. Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but who kows.
The year is 2024 and it is still not obvious to a new player that the pendant requires gold. Doesn't help I don't comprehend symbols. The tutorial made me think I had to collect oranges or something in the dungeon to power it up.
