you've seen the first dungeon you pretty much saw all of them. no new gimmics besides the pillar who opens the doors.

Yes.. it's unfortunate, I had such big hopes for this game. One thing they did right, trailers, marketing, etc. That part was done so well I didn't check streams/reviews before buying it. Wont happen again.

We can only hope for some depth updates, but yes it is very repetetive. I only recommend if you enjoy the concepts. It's no reccatear, but it certainly scratches a similiar itch.

Yes and I doubt it can be fixed with updates since its no due to lack of content only but core game mechanics

I mean... Kind of? It's a relatively short game. 14 hours in and I've almost beaten it. Someone else said they beat it in 10 but I'm taking my time with it because I'm really enjoying myself. For a 20 dollar game that isn't bad. You can do worse than 2 bucks an hour of entertainment.

Doesn't matter how much it costs, nor is a proper way of measuring the quality of a game to tie it with a pricetag. Quality is quality.

I enjoy it well enough. If I didn't like it I would have refunded it before the 2 hour deadline.

Sure, but you are discussing 2 different things, one how much you like the game the other one a link between the price and the quality.

The price is suitable for the quality and the time. I'd be warning people away if this were a $60 title but it isn't.

I mean, I imagine if you rush the game you can beat it quick enough, but I'm enjoying the idea of it, working out best prices for items, exploring the dungeons. In principle yeah the dungeons follow the same pattern but I also enjoy learning to deal with new enemies attacks. Trying different evade and attacks with the spear or block and attack with shield. 26hrs apparently I've played (including leaving it paused to do things I guess) On third dungeon, still enjoying it. Just my opinion.

Depends on you... if you're in school eating Raman, then the 20 bucks is a big ask. If you're a grown ass man with income who doesn't think twice of dropping 20 on dinner, then ♥♥♥♥ yeah.

Its very enjoyable. Can easily spend a weekend just grinding out the the progression with some light-mid challege in dungeons, and be damn happy you did

Is it stardew levels of quality? Nope... but its great for what it is, at its price point, and with the right expections. A $20 for an excellent fun "cant wait to wake up and play s'more" feeling is worth it, even if it only lasts the one weekend.

There are things that do have a correlation with money, things like AAA graphics, sound band, direction, etc.

But there are other things where indies do just fine and sometimes even surpass other AAA publishers easily, things like variety, balance, depth, etc.

Having a boring design of weapons, little to no secrets, and overall a lack of imagination have nothing to do with a price tag.
