Its very enjoyable. Can easily spend a weekend just grinding out the the progression with some light-mid challege in dungeons, and be damn happy you did
Is it stardew levels of quality? Nope... but its great for what it is, at its price point, and with the right expections. A $20 for an excellent fun "cant wait to wake up and play s'more" feeling is worth it, even if it only lasts the one weekend.
But there are other things where indies do just fine and sometimes even surpass other AAA publishers easily, things like variety, balance, depth, etc.
Having a boring design of weapons, little to no secrets, and overall a lack of imagination have nothing to do with a price tag.
