It has happened to me even inside the backpack menu. These are not bugs that I remember from past updates, but they are good to point out to the developer team.
Edition: Now that I remember, there was also this bug that, on random occasions, when I hit an enemy, the game simply stopped.
I went in and made sure the game uses my dedicated card (cause laptop) and runs in administrative mode. That seems to have helped a little. Microsoft doesn't make doing that very easy for Game Pass games.
I'm still on the fence if I want to pick up the game or not on Steam. This has been a ride so far.
The Controller in the Main-Menu need 2-3 seconds to work but after that all is fine.
Hmm. I wonder what could be causing it cause I get the issues constantly. It's not like there's anything different between the games I installed on XGP or Steam.
Interestingly, it recognizes the controller input when skipping the intro videos, so it's not my controller.
The only thing I could possibly think of is Moonlighter doesn't like being in the default XGP install directory? Maybe something about permissions since Microsoft locks the XGP default folders behind permissions. That was the only idea I had but I just decided to buy it on here.
Odd that we seem to be the only two that've had the issue though.
